Blind Pig: Steven Rinella

I had the chance to attend an excellent lecture at the Diana Wortham Theater by Steven Rinella, author of "The Scavengers Guide to Haute Cuisine" and current host of MeatEater on the Sportsman Channel. This is a guy my Dad would LOVE.  He spoke about his experiences as a lifelong subsistance hunter as well as his opinions on hunting's role in today's convenience driven society.  Then he was the guest of honor at the Blind Pig's Escoffier Dinner.

There were Hardcastle's Carolina Deer Dog's - a venison hot dog loaded with teal duck chili that was nothing short of awesome!
