Woody Wood - Won't You?

Folks, I don't usually put music in here but Woody Wood is really that good and I want to give you a chance  to hear what you are about to miss out on. . . in fact you should probably just hit play before you read any further.  My personal favorites are Come Back and Coal Black Hair but the whole list is solid.  Go ahead, I'll wait. . . .

Woody Wood is a very talented songwriter, guitarist and Asheville local who needs some serious help. In your archetypical "Deal with the Devil" style gambit he launched a "Kickstarter" campaign to raise money to finish his debut album.  With 6 days to go in the campaign he has raised $5805 toward his goal, but if he can't hit the mark  of $9000 by the last day of the campaign the deal is off,  no money will change hands, the album won't get finished and you folks are going to miss out on some absolutely primo music and the chance to own a bit of it for yourselves, not to mention helping out a really deserving musician.

I was lucky enough to catch Woody at a house concert last night being held in my neighborhood to raise money for the effort.  What a wonderful treat to fall into in my own backyard and we all enjoyed Woody and his music for the afternoon. But it's going to take more than a backyard bar-b-que or two to put this one over the top at this stage in the game so I'm sending out the call.   Go to Woody's Kickstarter page, chip in some cash and help save a worthy project that deserves to be heard.
