Groundhog Day this year was a toss up as far as I heard. Everywhere I look though it seems something is budding or blooming. The plants are as excited by this mild weather as the rest of us are. Christopher pointed out this beautiful tree, he called it a Fringe Tree, making the most intoxicating aroma on the corner in front of the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism in West Asheville this week. These beautious blossoms might be early in the season but they cheered me up so much I think they were right on time. If you find yourself walking by this tree on the corner of Westwood and Waynesville I highly recommed you stick your nose in it and inhale deeply.
