Larry Keel & Natural Bridge

The last Downtown After 5 concert happened last night and it was a fantastic way to end the summer!  The whole concert series has been a real treat with a great list of performers and last nights show  was a real topper to a summer full of great music.  We got there early and really enjoyed the opening band Underhill Rose two members of which used to be the celebrated Barrelhouse Mamas.  Then it was time for Larry Keel and Natural Bridge .  These guys are old favorites of mine from Virginia and I haven't seen them since I photographed Larry, Jenny and Gary as the Keels back at the State Theatre in 2005.  Natural Bridge had the crowd swinging, singing and swaying, hooting, stomping and dancing all night.  Thanks to the whole band for making the journey down 81 to bring the music to Asheville!
